Rodanthe Camping

Posted on June 11, 2022

Among other things, the pandemic has kept my camper safely stored in the garage for at least 2 years. It’s time to dust it off and hit the road. And what better way to get back in the groove than a quick trip down to one of my favorite private campgrounds on the Outer Banks – St. Claire Landing in Rodanthe.

St. Claire Landing is a small, sound-side campground in Rodanthe with about 18 sites with water/electricity along with 3 tent sites. Reasonably priced, clean facilities, friendly folks, and a great view and access to the sound. Perfect for a few days of rest and relaxations (with a bit of exercise thrown in for just for the heck of it).
