Devices designed to simply count steps can be very inaccurate at estimating distance. This has to be one of the most ridiculous “studies” on fitness tech that I’ve ever seen. And did somebody really have to run 37 miles to determine that a Garmin vivosmart 4 is not a particular good choice for marathon training?
